Patagonian Icecap Expedition November 2010
This is the chance of a lifetime to sample Antarctic like terrain and visit the magnificent granite spires Mount Chalten (Fitzroy) and Cerro Torre. A basecamp will be established on the Patagonian Icefield. We shall attempt Gorra Blanca and then traverse the Icecap southwards.

Some disturbing news has emerged from deep in the heart of the Patagonia, where wintertime is supposed to be in full swing. Joaquin Sanchez Gutierrez 1966-2008 RIP
Sadly I have to announce the death of Joaquin, who took his own life, and was buried yesterday in his home town of Lanjaron, Spain. Joaquin was born in France but spent most of his life in southern Spain.
