Summer opening of cable car and chairlifts at the Sierra Nevada
Tweet

You can escape the severe spanish heat this summer by using the ski lifts of the Sierra Nevada to access the cooler air above for trekking and hiking. Below are the details of the facilities to open.

The chairs make easy access to the upper mountains and include a walk to some of the fantastic mountain lakes or a trip into the dramatic Coral de Veleta. Even the ascent of Mulhacén is accessible from here as a day trip.
