The rains that have bombarded the Granada area in the past week have finally stopped. We ventured out today onto rural tracks between Pinos de Valle and Los Guajares to get a view of the mountains from the south west. The white clad peaks of Cerro de Caballo, Tajos Alta and Cerrillo Redondo dominate the view with Lanjaron nestling at the base. Snow level is about 2300m. We were also treated to the sight of a Golden Eagle soaring above us.
