Photo taken 15th March 2009 from the Sierra de Lugar, looking north to the south side of the Sierra Nevada. The view stretches from the Cerro de Caballo in the west to Veleta and then Mulhacen in the east. The recent high temperatures have stabalised the snowpack and the conditions are great for ski touring and mountaineering. Use the panorama below to identify the peaks shown in the photo.
