Indoor Climbing Wall in Durcal

A new Indoor Climbing Wall has opened in Durcal. Very accessible from the Alpujarras or Granada, Lecrin regions. The map below gives it’s exact location. Monthly membership is 20 euros a month. Not sure of daily cost but with a Federation Andaluz Montanismo (FAM) card it is just 2 euros for the day!

Press the “Satellite” button on the bottom map to show the place. Zoom out to see the exact location.

    Hi there
I have never used a climbing wall before but am very intertested in trying it out. Has anyone got any tips for me about using one and experiences of the one in Durcal? Can I just turn up and get someone to show me the ropes (not meant to be a joke)!

    Hi Alison
I think it is best if yoy go there primarily with an experienced person. Contact me via http://www.spanishhighs.co.uk with the dates you are available and we shall try to fix things up. Otherwise we could do a short ropework course so you could go with a climbing partner.
