The area is quiet and unspoilt. The photos and maps below were taken on the long west to east ridge of Majalijar 1887m. This covers some 4 main tops with great views southwards to the northern Sierra Nevada mountains.
Access is via the A92 Granada – Almeria motorway. Take the 2nd Parque Nacional de Sierra de Huetor exit and follow towards Prada Negro. You will see the jagged Majalijar ridge in front of you.
