We head out to the Alps on 28th June and return to Granada on 10th July. This is a non commercial trip and any previous Spanish High Mountain Guides clients are welcome to join us.

We shall be warming up on the Gran Paradiso, Italy’s highest peak over 4000m. Then its over to Chamonix where we shall do the Valley Blanche and Mt Blanc du Tacul before attempting Mont Blanc via the normal route.

17 July, 2008: Independent Chamonix guide, Patrick Monzat 58, was killed in the Gouter Couloir on the Normal Route up Mont Blanc where he and his two Canadian clients were avalanched, luckyly, the clients survived though injuried.
