Sierra Nevada End of Ski Season
Sunday 27th April brought an end to the official ski season here. The late season snow enabling another weeks good skiing.
The prospects look dim for a good May ski touring and ski mountaineering though. The snow is quickly retreating uphill in high temperatures. The NW face from the Cerro de Caballo through to Veleta is looking the best for continuous snow.
