Raining heavily today. Just to get out, we walked up the Poqueira Gorge where the weather steadily worsened throughout the day. By Cortijo Thomas the showers turned to heavy consistent rain. In the end it was too much to handle and we retreated down to the best tapa bar in Capileira where we should have spent the day anyway!
It was quite mild. There will be much snow above 3000m and maybe wet snow down to 2500m. We are heading up Friday (weather permitting) for a day’s snowshoeing so will report further.
