The recent heavy rain and high temps has washed out snow cover below 2700m. Above 3000m there has been some significant falls of wet snow. Yesterday and overnight the freezing levels dropped considerably so that there is now extensive icing. Further low temps today and tomorrow should help consolidation.
Ski touring – still poor. Best cover still Caballo to Catujo area but only 500m decent.
Snowshoeing – OK in high open bowls on the north side.
Mountaineering – Stay at home in the tapas bars until at least Monday! Then it should be excellent.
