Conditions yesterday on Tajos de los Machos. Great skiing in brilliant sunshine. Skis on at 2500m east of Las Alegas. Snow a bit soft on ascent to Cerillo Redondo. Very good cover and lots of safe lines available. Descent from summit was fairly late on in the afternoon and the snow was a bit slushy making it hard work. This area is reasonably safe with low avalanche risk. Other areas are not the same and you need to watch the avalanche danger….see previous post!
