Temps reaching 18 deg in the valley, gave freezing levels of +3300m! Snow was dripping off the summit area. The photo shows a better snow cover than is actually there. It is suferficial above 2200m and only above 2700m does this overlay and old hard and consolidated snow. There is some drifting on N and NE slopes and windslab may form.
