Snow at La Pluca. All the way up and over las Alegas (2700m) there was intermittent hard crust (2 inch) mixed with breakable crust sinking in about a foot deep. Quite tiring conditions up to the  summit of the Tajos de los Machos (nearly 3100m). Weather closed in and we retreated back.    Negligible avalanche risk.
