New snow Sierra Nevada! We couldn’t get all the way to Refugio Forestal La Pluca, as the road was affected by snow. Walked up Las Alegas. Up to 1ft new powder, no base. Bad weather high so aborted attempt on Los Machos. Came down steep slopes near Cebollar Refugio and down to Rio Chico. Wind blown powder drifts up to 2ft at times. New snow down to 1600 below Puente Palo. Seems localised as other areas the snow level is higher.
