North of Veleta, Sierra Nevada. New snow down to 2600m. Above 2750 this overlies an old well consolidated layer of hard snow. About 10 to 15cm new snow that in places has blown off ridges into bowls and gullies in places to half a metre. Avalanche risk: 1

 

VLooking down to the Hoya de la Mora from 2800m on Veletaiew up the San Juan bowl towards Veleta. The snow depth is a bit superficial!
